Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using Hit Jungle, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

2. Eligibility

You must be old enough to form a binding contract where you live, and at least the minimum age required by applicable law, to use Hit Jungle.

3. Account Registration

You agree to provide accurate information and to keep it current. Your username is public and must not impersonate anyone.

4. Account Security

You are responsible for activity on your account and for keeping your credentials secure. Tell us promptly about unauthorised access.

5. Artist and Listener Accounts

Artist accounts may upload music. Listener accounts use discovery, community and playlist features. You may change your profile type.

6. User Content

"User Content" means anything you upload or post: recordings, artwork, images, video, text, comments and messages. You are responsible for your User Content.

7. Music Ownership

Artists keep ownership of the music they upload. Uploading to Hit Jungle does not transfer ownership of your music to Hit Jungle.

8. License Granted to Hit Jungle

You grant Hit Jungle a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, transcode, stream, publicly perform and display your User Content, and to make it available through platform features, solely for the purpose of operating and improving the service. This license ends when you remove the content, subject to ordinary backup expiry.

9. Your Representations

You represent that you own or have all rights necessary to upload your User Content, including rights in recordings, compositions, samples, artwork and any contributor's performance.

10. Copyright

Hit Jungle responds to valid copyright complaints. See the Copyright & DMCA Policy.

11. DMCA

Notice and counter-notice procedures are described in the Copyright & DMCA Policy and are incorporated into these Terms.

12. Prohibited Content

Content that violates the Community Guidelines is prohibited and may be removed.

13. Acceptable Use

The Acceptable Use Policy forms part of these Terms.

14. Platform Manipulation

Artificially inflating plays, likes, comments, followers or rankings is prohibited and may result in removal of metrics, content or the account.

15. Plays, Metrics and Rankings

Plays are counted only for qualifying listens and exclude the uploading account. Metrics and rankings are provided as-is, may be recalculated or corrected, and confer no entitlement to placement or exposure.

16. Comments and Community Features

Community features are provided for genuine interaction and are subject to moderation.

17. Messaging

Messaging is for communication between users and must not be used for spam, harassment or solicitation.

18. Friends and Followers

Friendships are mutual. One-directional following is not currently offered.

19. Live FeaturesComing soon

Live features are not currently offered. When introduced, they will be governed by these Terms and any additional live-specific rules.

20. Collaboration FeaturesComing soon

Collaboration tools are not currently offered. When introduced, additional rules covering credits and shared content may apply.

21. AI-Assisted FeaturesComing soon

See the AI & Automated Features policy. No commitment is made here about the use of user content in relation to AI systems until that policy is finalised.

22. Subscriptions / Hit Jungle ProComing soon

No paid subscription is currently offered. If one is introduced, its terms will be presented before purchase.

23. Payments and RefundsComing soon

No payments are processed today. Payment and refund terms will be added if and when paid features launch.

24. AdvertisingComing soon

Hit Jungle does not currently serve advertising. Any future advertising will be disclosed.

25. Third-Party Services

Hit Jungle relies on third-party infrastructure providers to host the service. Links you post to third-party sites are your responsibility.

26. Moderation

We may review reported content and take action consistent with the Content Moderation Policy.

27. Suspension and Termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or applicable law. You may stop using Hit Jungle at any time.

28. Content Removal

We may remove content that violates these Terms, the Community Guidelines, or the law.

29. Account Deletion

You may delete your account in Settings. Deletion removes your profile and content from the platform, subject to ordinary backup expiry and any records we must retain by law.

30. Disclaimers

The service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind to the fullest extent permitted by law.

31. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Hit Jungle is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data or goodwill.

32. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify Hit Jungle against claims arising from your User Content or your breach of these Terms.

33. Dispute Resolution

Dispute resolution provisions, including any arbitration or class-action terms, are pending legal review.

34. Governing Law

Governing law and venue will be specified once confirmed.

35. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms. Material changes will be communicated through the service.
