Information you provide

Account information: your email address and password credentials, handled by our authentication provider.

Profile information: username, display name, bio, profile and cover images, profile type and any external links you add.

Content: music you upload, artwork, photos, videos, posts, comments and playlists.

Community information: friend requests, messages and reports you submit.

Information collected automatically

Usage information such as which songs are played and whether a play qualified, likes, comments and other in-app activity, so counts and analytics reflect reality.

Basic device and browser information supplied by your browser with each request, plus security and error logs.

A last-active timestamp so presence indicators work.

Cookies and local storage

Hit Jungle stores your sign-in session in your browser's local storage. We do not use advertising cookies and we do not run third-party analytics or tracking pixels. See the Cookie Policy for detail.

How information may be shared

Service providers who host our database, storage and authentication, acting on our instructions.
In response to valid legal requests.
In connection with a business transfer such as a merger or acquisition.
Publicly, for the parts of your profile and content you choose to publish.

We do not sell your personal information

Hit Jungle does not sell personal information and does not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising.

Your choices

Access — request a copy of your account information through Support.
Correction — edit your profile and account details at any time.
Deletion — delete individual content, or your whole account, from Settings.

Data retention

We keep account and content data while your account is active. When you delete content or your account, it is removed from the platform; ordinary system backups expire on their own schedule.

Children's privacy

Hit Jungle is not intended for children below the applicable minimum age, and we do not knowingly collect their information.

Residents of some U.S. states have rights to know, access, correct, delete and appeal. You can exercise these through Support.
