Uploading music

Upload Music is available in the header on desktop and in the navigation on smaller screens. You add your audio file, artwork, title, genre and content type (Song or Beat / Instrumental).

Supported audio

Standard web-playable audio files such as MP3 and WAV work best. If a file is rejected, re-export it as a standard MP3 and try again.

Artwork

Square artwork looks best. Artwork is shown on cards, in radio and in the player, so use something you own the rights to.

Editing and deleting uploads

Open Uploads on your profile to edit song information, share a track, or delete it. Deleting removes the song from the platform and from discovery, and its stored files are cleaned up.

How play counts work

A play is only counted when someone genuinely listens: roughly thirty seconds, or half the track if it's shorter. Skips and previews don't count.

Why your own plays don't count

Plays from the artist's own account are excluded. This keeps counts honest and means the numbers you show people reflect real listeners.

Comments and likes

Listeners can comment on a song and like it. A like saves the song to that listener's My Jungle, so likes double as a genuine save signal.

Artist Analytics

Your profile shows a compact analytics strip: total plays, plays today, trending rank, comments, likes and friends. Every figure comes from real recorded activity — nothing is estimated or simulated.

Trending Rank

Trending Rank reflects recent momentum, not lifetime totals. It moves as listeners respond to your music. It cannot be purchased, and a rank does not by itself buy additional placement.

Sharing and building an audience

• Share your profile link — hitjungle.com/yourname — anywhere you already post.
• Post to Pulse when you release something.
• Reply to comments; conversation travels further than promotion.
