Hit Jungle

Copyright & DMCA Policy

How to report infringement, how counter-notifications work, and how repeat infringement is handled.

Draft — this document still needs review and sign-off before launch.

Copyright policy

Hit Jungle respects the intellectual property of others and expects everyone using the platform to do the same. Content that infringes someone else's rights may be removed, and accounts that repeatedly infringe may be restricted or terminated.

Reporting copyright through Hit Jungle

The fastest route is the report option on the song itself. Choose the copyright reason and describe the issue. Reports reach the moderation queue.

  • Stolen or re-uploaded music
  • Unauthorised uploads of your recordings
  • Copyrighted artwork used without permission
  • Impersonation of you or your project
  • Other intellectual-property concerns

DMCA takedown requests

A formal notice should include:

  • Identification of the copyrighted work you say has been infringed.
  • The exact Hit Jungle link to the material you want removed.
  • Your contact information.
  • A statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorised by the rights holder, its agent, or the law.
  • A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information is accurate and that you are the rights holder or authorised to act for them.
  • Your physical or electronic signature.

Counter-notifications

If your content was removed and you believe that was a mistake or misidentification, you may submit a counter-notification identifying the removed material, its former location, and a statement under penalty of perjury that you believe it was removed in error, along with your contact information and signature.

Repeat infringer policy

Accounts that repeatedly upload infringing content may have uploads restricted or the account terminated.

Copyright contact

A dedicated copyright contact address will be published here once the official legal contact is configured. Until then, use the in-app report options so your notice reaches the moderation queue.

REQUIRES FINAL LEGAL REVIEW — official copyright agent and contact address not yet configured.
