What is Hit Jungle?

Hit Jungle is a home for underground music. Independent artists upload their work, listeners discover it through radio and genre worlds, and both sides build a profile and a community around what they love.

Every song should have a meaningful opportunity to be heard. Continued momentum is earned through genuine listener response.

Creating an account

Choose Sign in from the header and create an account with your email address. You'll pick a username, which becomes your permanent public profile address — hitjungle.com/yourname.

Artist or Listener?

During onboarding you choose a profile type. Artist accounts can upload music. Listener accounts are built for discovering, saving and sharing — you can still comment, like, build playlists and make friends.

If you started as a Listener and want to upload, change your profile type in Settings.

Setting up your profile

• Add a profile picture and a cover image.
• Write a short bio so people know who they're listening to.
• Add external links to anywhere else your work lives.

Uploading your first song

Artists use Upload Music in the header. Add your audio file, artwork, title and genre, and choose whether the upload is a Song or a Beat / Instrumental. Once it's live it becomes eligible for discovery.

Finding music

Start on the homepage with Jungle Radio, or open Discover to browse genre worlds and the Beats / Instrumentals category.

Playlists, friends and Pulse

• Like a song to save it to My Jungle, and add it to a playlist to organise it.
• Friends on Hit Jungle are mutual — one person sends a request, the other accepts.
• Pulse is your profile's activity feed: posts, uploads and moments from your corner of the jungle.

Notifications

Activity that involves you — friend requests, messages and interactions on your work — appears inside the app on the relevant workspace.
